Working with an Anxiety

While some degree of anxiety can be normal, an inability to process or control anxious thoughts can profoundly affect the way you function on a daily.

This group will teach you how to calm your anxiety while providing a combination of skills training and peer-to-peer interactions. Participants are encouraged to help each other by sharing their stories and struggles with anxiety.

The goal of this group is to provide group members with:
  • Increased awareness and understanding of how anxiety affects the body and everyday life.
  • Increased awareness of our human limitations while learning to bestow grace on ourselves.
  • Coping skills to implement when experiencing anxiety.
  • Connection with others to help normalize the process and journey towards a healthier version of yourself.
  • There may be homework assignments given in the group.
Dates and Time
  • TBD (to be determined)
Duration
  • # of Weeks TBD by group type and group leader – Will Range from 3 to 12 weeks.
Fees
  • Based on the duration of the group. Will range anywhere from $300 to $900 for the entire duration of the group.
  • Materials fee when applicable, $0 to $30.
Scholarships
  • Income-based scholarships may be available for those who are prescribers to IWTIW. Funds are limited. For more details, contact iwilltilimwell@gmail.com

Registration
  • Submit the online registration form.
  • After you receive a confirmation for attending the group, secure your spot with your payment. You will be officially registered for the group after your payment is received.
Group Counselor
  • TBD
Group Requirements
  • Continuous weekly attendance is required.
  • A counselor will screen members for their appropriateness for this group.
